Enter Cluster Tracking Information Purpose: – enter tracking information for cluster Actions – displays menu to choose what information to enter – opens cluster tracking information entry screen – cluster tracking information stored in cluster_tracking.dat

Check Data Structure Purpose: – Check structure of a clusters main data file Actions – copies HHCCCM.DAT from a: to c:\mics\cspro\raw – executes structure check application – displays results

Verify the Data Purpose: – Verify a clusters data file Actions – compares c:\mics\cspro\raw\HHCCCM.DAT to a:\HHCCCV.DAT – displays list of differences

Backup the Raw Data Purpose: – Back up a clusters checked and verified data file Action – copies HHCCCM.DAT from c:\mics\cspro\raw to c:\mics\cspro\backup

Run Secondary Editing Program Purpose: – Provide list of inconsistencies for secondary editor Actions – executes secondary editing application – displays list of inconsistencies

Modify the Data Purpose: – Allow supervisor to implement changes requested by secondary editor Action – executes data entry application in modify mode uses input file c:\mics\cspro\raw\HHCCCM.DAT

Backup the Final Data Purpose: – Back up a clusters checked, verified and edited data file Action – copies HHCCCM.DAT from c:\mics\cspro\raw to c:\mics\cspro\final

Export the Data to SPSS Purpose: – Export all completed clusters data files to SPSS Actions – copies all data files in c:\mics\cspro\final to c:\mics\cspro\all.dat – executes export application using all.dat as input – creates SPSS data and description files in c:\mics\spss

Enter GPS Data Purpose: – Enter GPS data Action – executes GPS data entry application in add mode adds cases to c:\mics\cspro\gps\gps.dat

Modify GPS Data Purpose: – Modify GPS data Actions – executes GPS data entry application in modify mode uses input file c:\mics\cspro\gps\gps.dat

New Cluster Number Purpose: – allow supervisor to work on a new cluster Actions – displays cluster number screen – changes value of CCC

View Cluster Tracking Information Purpose: – Provide overview of the status of all the clusters Actions – displays cluster tracking information screen

Quit Purpose: – quit supervisors menu gracefully Actions – closes CSPRO – deletes file justone.txt

Changing from Diskettes to a Network For some countries, data entry will be done on a network – Data copied to a shared drive instead of a diskette If this is the case in your country: – go through the supervisors menu application – make changes indicate by !!! network !!! comments

Modifying the Supervisors Menu Change language in errmsg and display functions Change language in accept functions Check parameters in SUPER_FF preproc; change if necessary Change cluster number check two places in ECLUSTER postproc: at beginning and next to comment:{ !!!
