How long they should last before concern: - Obesity has a wide range of forms. Adults should become concerned when their BMI reaches above 30. The reason for obesity all depends on a person’s body type, genetic susceptibility, and lifestyle.

5 Effects If the obese person is a parent then the child might take after the parent and become obese too. For the rest of the family the obese person becomes separated from the rest of the family because he or she is addicted to food and they might become poor because they will have to help pay for your diabetes medical bills and all the food that your body thinks you need. Also some jobs need you to not be obese like the milatary, modeling, dancing, and many jobs that have to do with physical activity.

6 Treatment/ Management Once you are obese, there are a few things you need to do: Eat healthy, exercise, get enough sleep Role of diet: To stop further weight gain, you should establish a reasonable weight loss goal by following the food pyramid. On top of that, you should also exercise. Role of Exercise: Exercising not only reduces stress but it helps you loose weight and gain self confidence. Once you get into a good habit of exercising, your brain releases endorphins that make you happy.
