To good at art Van Gogh was quiet the genius… so much so he cut his ear off. There is an old saying, if you are so good at something then you go a tad bit loopy too… it’s not a saying; it’s just something that my mum told me-sorry to disappoint you.

His paintings Vincent's paintings had a far reaching influence in the 20 th century, he painted many pictures of himself and sun flowers. His painting were not that popular and famous during his life time but when he died, people took lots of interest.

Van Gogh and The chair We like this painting because its very simple and easy; however it has loads of detail and has simple objects in that we are not really looking for in a painting. We also like his painting of him with him with one ear its really cool but strange too! (I mean come on who knows a person that lives down the road with one ear?)

Gallery These next few slides will show Van Gogh's paintings.

Our opinion We both agree he was a very good artist but a little strange for cutting off his ear. His art if you have noticed is based quiet a lot around flowers and how some are unique in there own way…
