March 27, 2017 Norwich Business School Study & Research Opportunities The following slides cover opportunities at University of East Anglia a well respected institution based in the City of Norwich. The university was founded in 1963 and is now home to 15,600 students from over 120 different countries. In the run up to UEA’s 50th anniversary, the celebrations for which take place this month, there has been large investment in both facilities and research

March 27, 2017 Norwich Business School at UEA Norwich Business School is the largest school within the University of East Anglia (UEA), a UK university situated in the East of England. UEA itself is a world-class institution which sits in the top 20 of British Universities and firmly within the world top 100 Universities for research (Leiden rankings 2013). The University is renowned for it’s flexible and interdisciplinary approach to both study and research thus providing a wide range of specialism’s at research level. UEA has a tradition for excellence in both teaching and research and has recently performed extremely well in a number of rankings. The university is currently firmly in the top 20 UK institutions according to both the Times and Guardian rankings UEA has also been ranked within the world top 100 universities for research based on the 2013 Leiden rankings, however UEA prides itself in student experience and is constantly being voted one of the best institutions for study. March 27, 2017 Studying at Norwich Business School Postgraduate Courses Programmes to suit all needs At postgraduate level we offer conversion courses for those new to the field as well as specialist ones for the more experienced. Advanced Programmes MBA (3yrs exp required) Brand Leadership Advanced Business Management Conversion Programmes Business Management Intl. Accounting & Finance Management Human Resource Management Marketing Supply Chain Management Investment & Financial Management Sustainable Business At postgraduate taught level UEA offer two sets of courses. One set for students who have either studies business as a subject at undergraduate level or have a number of years relevant working experience, the other for students with no prior experience and a degree from a different subject area. Advanced programmes are designed as cutting edge and niche offerings. The MBA incorporates three management consultancy projects in place of a dissertation whilst the Brand Leadership programme is a world first and run in collaboration with Wolff Olins, a global marketing agency. Conversion programmes have similar core modules designed to offer an overview of business as a subject before specialising in the respective major they are titled after. March 27, 2017

The school itself is home to 86 faculty members and we currently have 50 phd students researching with us.
