George is manager of CIPS team at PwC Greece. He is also an associate member (ACA) and holder of the Audit Qualification of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
During his 7 year residence in the UK, he was employed in the public sector, in audit practices and at an international retail conglomerate. He joined PwC in 2011 as a manager, and through his participation in various projects, he has been supporting clients in optimising finance processes and operations, with a focus on Strategic Reviews, Receivables Management, Working Capital Optimisation, Cash flow/Liquidity Enhancement, Securitisation, Profitability/Margin Assessments, and Commercial Process re-Engineering.
He has overseen the end-to-end cycle of creation, adoption, system integration and live application of policies and procedures in multinational groups.
He has studied economics and statistics, and is a member of the faculty of PwC Academy delivering lectures on Management Reporting.
Recently, he has been managing thought leadership teams; undertaking research publications such as the "Stars & Zombies: The prospects of Greek companies coming out of the crisis"
