7 Open Access – the definition: Open access journals = journals that have a business model that does not charge readers or their institutions for access. 11 Sonja Brage, Lund University Libraries, Head Office Developing countries in DOAJ Journals from 50 % of the Asian countries are in DOAJ There are about 30 Central and Latin American countries and 23 of them have journals in DOAJ Out of 50 African countries,14 have got journals in DOAJ 33 % of the eifl countries have journals in DOAJ February 6, 2014
