Girls Play Day – great kick off to season & umpire training End of Season Events 6,720 players, coaches, & spectators, over 3 weekends at Treasure Island = a lot of porta potties ;-) Great food & retail vendors Some exciting weather & no game cancellations

NCJLA Certified Coaches Recommended by workshop group, and supported by attendees and the board Same requirements as in the past (except addition of signed coaches code of conduct) Now just verifying all requirements are met Submitted with rosters, due by Feb. 12 Coaches must wear lanyards with NCJLA Certified Coach card, at every game

NCJLA Certified Coaches Requirements Background check such as NCSI (Schools require fingerprinting, so would count.)  Must renew annually PCA online or in-person workshop, “Double Goal Coach”  Completed within three years from the start of the current season US Lacrosse Level 1 online course  One-time requirement US Lacrosse membership  Must renew annually, and be valid through the end of the season Signed Coaches Code of Conduct (new for 2012 season)
