3 WP 1 Project management, data management agreements, contracts, website, financial & reporting WP 2 Desktop studies, needs analysis (planning), socio-economics & cultural, knowledge transfer, information exchange, networking and stakeholder involvement (including anglers commercial buy in to the project). a)Best practice for developments (Agriculture, Forestry, small scale hydro etc. ) b)Best for restoration of catchments WP 3 Coastal and Transitional case study. Modelling verification from Norway (text needs to be developed) work on sea trout habitat, food, stable isotope, life history, genetics, parasites (sea lice), hydrodynamic modelling. Verification and application of work carried out in other areas. Stakeholder engagement WP 4 Salmonid Migration Routes. Stock discrimination, Tagging & tracking, Sea trout genetics, Salmonid migration routes, critical feeding areas, salinity, monitoring systems, arrays. Stakeholder engagement WP 5 a)Sustainable Toolbox development & dissemination (products and services to stakeholders) support innovation methodology of implementation Best practice (Organisations working with angling groups, citizen science, advisory groups (e.g. farming, aquaculture) Need monitoring systems in place b)Socio-economics and commercial value in sustainable development of the Salmonid industry. Stakeholder engagement high level critical influence in each country (needs assessment identification of key groups, networking, representatives for different development areas (reference/advisory group). Include details of costs and implications of measures (pro & cons), include cultural and recreational value. WP 6 Restoration of sea trout catchments. Stakeholder engagement (Freshwater Ecological work on sea trout habitat, food, life history, modelling. Historical data, growth and life histories.) Project Overview Toolbox for sustainable development - coastal & freshwater - stakeholder engagement - best practice - desktop - development of models - migration routes Restoration of sea trout catchments Sharing expertise, research and knowledge
