7 Next steps ….. 1.Clarify your career plans, consider who to apply to, you could target firms already on the register of Tier 2 sponsors 2.If you are offered a position and issued with a Certificate of Sponsorship you can apply for permission to stay in the UK for up to three years on a Tier 2 (General) visa 3.If necessary direct employers to the information on the UKBA web site about joining the register of Tier 2 sponsors

8 Next steps….. 4.Research organisations carefully and think about how to provide evidence of your suitability for a position 5.Networking – do you have any contacts within an organisation which would enable you to make a personal approach 6.Develop a back up career plan that does not depend on getting a UK work permit – Include applying for options in your home country.
