4 Ohio’s 53 Private Colleges Even though the University System of Ohio (USO) represents public institutions many Ohio private colleges/universities willingly participate in transfer and articulation initiatives. Check with the accepting/receiving institution for transfer information.

8 Ohio Transfer Module A subset of the general education requirements consisting of 36-40 semester hours or 54-60 quarter hours of specific credits in: English Composition Mathematics Arts and Humanities Social and Behavioral Sciences Natural or Physical Sciences Interdisciplinary Coursework

11 Transfer Partnership Agreements are created between institutions to facilitate the transfer of specific program credits to ensure that credits are applied effectively to a degree or program. Transfer Partnership Agreements

12 Articulation and Transfer Clearinghouse Clearinghouse College Transcript Receiving Institution Student requests his/her official transcript be sent to another Ohio institution.Student requests his/her official transcript be sent to another Ohio institution. Transcript will be sent electronically through the Articulation and Transfer Clearinghouse. A TAG audit will be performed.Transcript will be sent electronically through the Articulation and Transfer Clearinghouse. A TAG audit will be performed. 21 Transfer Student Responsibilities As a student, you have some very important things that you are responsible for in terms of transferring to another college.  Develop a transfer plan with an advisor/counselor  Know the deadlines as they are key (i.e. scholarships, course selections, housing etc…)  Understand grade requirements for college and program of study  Create a CAS account  Ask questions/Use resources
