Media = An intervening substance through which something is transmitted or carried on

Multimedia refers to technologies and applications that integrate different types of media, such as text, sound, video, computer graphic, animation Benefits: It makes things interesting and entertaining to the users, i.e. Enclocypedia Britannica, Encarta, VR (Virtual Reality)
