The comparative form changes depending on the adjective you use. It's important to learn a wide range of adjectives to describe both the physical location as well as the character of the people and places.

Some people prefer to live in the city while other people choose to live in the countryside. Their choice depends upon their background. City lifestyle and country lifestyle are two different types of living. Although, these two types of living differ from each other by environment, job opportunities and cost of living; they also have similar features such as daily routine, values and people live and work in these areas. The most notable difference between life in a countryside and life in a city is environment. There are less pollution, fewer cars and factories in the countryside. The environment of the country is better than city’s environment. People who are living in rural areas breathe fresh air and use clean water. There are a lot of trees and bushes there because they provide to people fresh air and consume carbon dioxide.

In addition, environment of the country has many picturesque sceneries and quiet conditions due to small population. It is beneficial for elders because there is a small crime rate in the country and they can live calmly without worrying about their safety. On the other hand, people who are living in the big cities suffer from different sorts of pollution. The diverse vehicles such as taxis, buses, motorbikes cause noise pollution. Furthermore, factories are important causes of noise and air pollution. Another disadvantage of living in the city are congestions. They have a negative impact on people’s health because they have to breathe the smog, which is produced by vehicles.
