2. OCEAN OCEAN is a way to characterize various personality types based on a generalization of personality traits. Psychologists have developed this series of characterizations through years of study and research.

3. O- Openness People that have a high level of openness like change. These people are creative and imaginative. They are curious and unconventional thinkers many times. They are quick to understand new ideas, have a rich vocabulary. They like puzzles and abstract thinking. These are your artistic “out-of-the-box” types.

4. C- Conscientiousness Characterized by the need to be in control and disciplined. These people are planners. They have a sense of duty and are goal and achievement driven. These people are seen as reliable, hardworking perfectionists. These people are always prepared and love schedules and work. They cannot stand disorder.

5. E- Extraversion Extraverts gain energy from being around people. They are enthusiastic and like to be in the middle of the action. These folks tend to be positive and upbeat. They also love attention and seeking the spotlight. They are talkative and like to start conversations. These people are the life of the party and find comfort in groups.

6. A- Agreeableness Agreeable people are compassionate ad cooperative. They like getting along with others. Agreeable people like social harmony. They care about other people’s welfare and tend to be generous. Agreeable people are good listeners and compromisers. People consider them decent, trustworthy and kind.

7. N- Neuroticism Neurotic personalities experience a wide range of emotions (anger, anxiety and depression) more readily than others. The reactions they feel are usually stronger than others and they tend to have an edgy outlook on life. Neurotics are affected by moods, get irritated easily and stress out more quickly than the other personality types but may also find more extremely positive moments in things. They are very in touch with themselves and their feelings.
