11 Why should we use CONJUNCTIONS in our writing? Customize this editing technique to your writing. If you find yourself using the short, choppy sentences often—choose a Conjunction instead. The first example’s is VERY repetitive, isn’t it? That’s why it’s important to use the conjunctions to connect similar words.
