11 The PDST is funded by the Department of Education and Skills under the National Development Plan, 2007-2013 Link Teacher and Literacy/Numeracy Team The PDST is offering support for and training for a numeracy/literacy link teacher in every school ( see PDST website for details). The link teacher and the literacy/numeracy team will then facilitate and support the work of subject departments and individual teachers in prioritising and addressing key issues in numeracy as part of a whole school approach.
