5 4 Wire1X – A supplicant of 802.1x – Support a lot of EAP authentication types

6 General Description Fast WiMAX handoff by using SIP mobility – Cross-layer design to reduce handoff delay – Using SIP mobility to enhance multimedia applications 5

7 6 Breakthroughs and Major Achievements TechnologyState-of-the-ArtBreakthrough RAMP A Reconfigurable Architecture and Mobility Platform We have proposed an architecture to accommodate, control, and coordinate various types of mobility management protocols. Both analytical model and simulation have been developed to analyze the architecture sRAMPDeploy security mechanisms into RAMP RAMP provides mobility management choices. We have implement the security mechanisms into RAMP to make the RAMP system more secure.  Core Networks

8 7 Breakthroughs and Major Achievements TechnologyState-of-the-ArtBreakthrough Wire1X A supplicant of 802.1X. 802.1X has been used in wireless authentication protocols. Wire1X provide various authentication types and several encryption algorithms. Fast SIP mobility in WiMAX environment A cross-layer design for fast SIP mobility in WiMAX environment Our work design is to reduce the handoff latency in WiMAX environment. In order to enhance multimedia applications, we choosing SIP mobility as mobility management.  Core Networks
