What argument are they making? “Spending money to reintroduce recently lost existing species- even California’s grizzly bear- and restore habitat is a much better use of our time and energy,” she said. “Without habitat restoration the 750 mountain gorillas left on the planet won’t make it. I’d much rather combine the tiger subspecies together to create a better genetic reservoir than bring back some extinct organism.”
