Introduction Should be multiple paragraphs composed of a minimum of 5-7 sentences Should start with an attention grabber which can include interesting facts and a problem today that is related to it. 20. Discussion of Results The data showed that (using sentence format, describe the trend/relationships observed in your actual data). If using categories - Use actual average data for each level of your IV if you had categories. Compare differences between averages. Calculate standard deviation of the data to see if the difference between categories was significant. If something was measured over time - describe the trend of the line graph. Compare rates of change using final time or time intervals. Graph rates of change as bar graphs and compare using standard deviation. If there was a correlation between the variables, regression calculations should be presented.
