11 Ekol Milestones Established in 1990; offered international road transportation until 1993. 1994, the company made the biggest one-time fleet investment in Turkey and expanded its service network with air and sea transportation and customs clearance. 1996, the company opened its first foreign branch office in Germany. 1997 set up 2 major warehouses and began offering contract logistics. Between 2002 and 2009, the company opened warehousing and distribution centres (18 distribution centres and 24 offices located in Turkey and Europe.) In 2003, Ekol its software quadro™ and SAP was also actively launched. 2009, Ekol expanded its power by partnering with Invest AD from Abu Dhabi as a minor partner. 2010, Ekol acquired a leading Scandinavian forwarder, STS International Transport. In 2011 Ekol Italia and Ekol Romania is established as a result of the growth target in Europe In 2012 winning European Eco Performance Award, establishing R&D department in the Turkish Logistics Market, 4 new branches (France, Bosnia, Greece and Ukraine)

12 Year in Review 2013 -2014 Ro-Ro services began.
Ekol was awarded with AEO certificate by the Ministry of Customs and Trade, making export operations easier. Ekol Hungary and Ekol Spain was founded and the number of European countries in which Ekol operates reached to 9. Ekol was awarded with Green Office Diploma by the WWF Turkey.

about CO2 emission and diesel fuel consumption savings achieved through intermodal transportation of their freight. These reports are generated by our system based on the customer shipment data. In addition to that, our customers will be able to monitor their actual savings through our web interface Quadronet with a customer specific account.
