2 Service Initiative of Key Club International Volunteers are needed for our “Adopt-A- Road Project, this Saturday, April 14 th, 8:30 AM. Trash bags, gloves, safety vests, and trash pick up reachers are provided. The more volunteers, the more quickly it gets done! Please meet on the east side of Winn Dixie at the intersection of Atlantic Blvd & Penman Road. We do this every 2 nd Saturday of the month. A graduate of the Naval Academy and Duke University law, Dan served as a JAG officer in the U.S. Navy and for the Secretary of the Navy. He joined Holland and Knight for a short period before going to Mayor Peyton's staff. He spoke to us on a variety of issues, the importance of the Navy to Jacksonville, Cecil Field, the new veteran's clinic, and the redeployment of carriers and the future of Mayport. He is married with three children, one is a graduate of Annapolis, one is a Minister, and one is in Douglas Anderson and aspires to be in the opera.
