3 I I Some basic facts about our industry 1.Unified Communication market is estimated at $30B Wainhouse Research, January 14, 2011 2. Three out of the top ten ways consumers will use mobile in 2012, as predicted by Gartner (November 2009): No. 1: Money transfer – most services offering person-to-person transfers, using Short Message Service (SMS) No. 6: Mobile payment – paying for goods and services over the mobile Web No. 8: Mobile advertising – Gartner expects spending on mobile advertising to reach US$7.5 billion in 2012 from US$530.2 million in 2008 3. Mobile text messaging (SMS) has the fastest read rate at 90% in 15 minutes with a 97% final open rate 4. There are almost 5 times more mobile devices than computers 5. 38% of Americans currently own a smartphone, but that number will increase to 55% by May, 2011, according to Nielsen 2011 3

4 I I The SMS generation… 2.3 Trillion SMS were sent in the USA in 2010 alone… “In 2008, U.S. cell phone subscribers sent and received on average 357 text messages per month, compared to making 204 voice calls a month” according to the Nielsen Report Between the ages of 12 – 45 will send 60% more text messages than make voice calls. Two thirds of mobile phone users are subscribers of SMS text messaging.” What does that translate to? Approximately 1.8 billion people are actively text messaging today There are two times as many active SMS users as are active users of email While 80% of e-mail is spam, less than 3% of SMS is spam Mobile has 7X better coupon redemption rates than online & offline 4
