1 Enjoy Europe Travel by Train! How to book a VIARail ticket in 11 steps?

2 Step #1 (1) As usual, enter the Departure Date from country and the Agent Name and click on “Product Tree”. p 2 1

3 Step #2 – Product Selection (1) In the product tree, in the “Non-European Rail Products” section, select “VIARailPTP tickets”. p 3 1

4 Step #3 - Product Search (1) Search the product thanks to the multi-criteria search. (1) Choose the “Passenger Type” (2) Precise the number of passengers (3) Click on “Add” button to add the search criteria (4) Precise the Origin- Destination points as well as the departure date then click on “Search”. (5) Search in the “Schedules and Classes”, the requested train, then select it. (6) Choose in the “Select Class”, the booking class requested (please refer to the ProducFactSheet for differences between all of them). p 4 1 2 3 44 5 44 6

5 Step #4 - Book a one way ticket (1) Click on “Select Class”. (2) Click on ”Get Fares” (3) Click on “Select Fares” to add the product to your selection. p 5 1 2 3

6 Step #4 bis – Book a round trip ticket If you want to book a round trip ticket in a single time, follow step # 3 and #4 until “Get Fares”, then populate again origin/destination and dep. dates, select your booking class and select class again. Then you’ll have in the “selected trains” box your way and return. Click on “Get Fares” and then “Select Fares”. p 6

7 Step #5 – Passenger Creation Go to “Passengers” Tab (1) Select in the drop down list the “Passenger A Adult” already created by Euronet. p 7 1

8 Step #6 (1) Modify First Name (max length. 20 characters) and Last Name (max length. 30 characters) with your traveler (2) Click on “Confirm”. (3) You have the possibility to request if available a window or aisle seat via “Seating Preference”. You can also request a diabetic meal via “Meal Preference”. Otherwise the regular snack or lunch (Eco/Business) will be proposed. p 8 2 1 3

9 Step #7 – Contact Information Go to “Booking Details” Tab. (1) Precise all contact information with passenger information. All fields with an asterisk are mandatory. (2) The “Contact E- mail” address will receive the e-voucher confirmation generated by VIARail system. So either you precise the passenger email address and he/she will receive it directly either you precise yours, and then, forward it to your client. p 9 1 2

10 Step #8 – Booking Recap Go to “Booking Recap” Tab Product has been selected, passengers created, assigned to the product… (1) If the result is compliant with your expectations, click on “Next”. p 10 1

11 Step #9 You are now back to the Euronet generic “home” screen. To select the ticketing method: (1) In the “Booked Products” box, select the VIARail PTP Tickets. (2) Next to the “Product Description”, in the drop down box ticketing method, select PDF. REMEMBER THAT VIARail tickets ARE EXCLUSIVELY TICKETED AS PDF. DOCUMENT. (3) Then click on “Next”. p 11 1 2 3

12 Step #10 (1) Click on “Finish“. p 12 1

13 Step #11 – Printing Process (1) In order to receive the PDF Confirmation, please enter your email account within the two “TO” fields. Note that email address should be exactly the same in both fields. (2) Click on “Send”. p 13 1 2

14 TRAVEL DOCUMENT The email given to the « Contact Information » (step #7) will receive the e- booking confirmation email. (1) This document is not valid for travel and should be exchanged at the train station. You can exchange it either via the kiosk using the 2D barre code (2) or the booking confirmation number (3) either at the ticket office in the station. p 14 1 1 2 3

15 BOOKING CONFIRMATION The email specified in the “ To“ field (step#11) will receive the pdf booking confirmation. This document is not valid for travel for VIARail and cannot be exchanged at the train station. p 15

16 RECAP: VIA RAILTRAVEL AND BOOKING CONFIRMATION For VIARail, two confirmations are generated: (1) THE CONTACT EMAIL SPECIFIED IN « BOOKING DETAILS » WILL RECEIVE THE E- BOOKING CONFIRMATION This document is valid for travel and must be exchange at a Kiosk prior to boarding to train. (2) THE EMAIL SPECIFIED IN THE « TO » FIELDS WILL RECEIVE THE BOOKING CONFIRMATION GENERATED FROM EURONET. This document is NOT valid for travel p 16 1 2
