5 Brown Vs. Board of Education Father of 8 year old Linda Brown charged the board of education of Topeka, Kansas, with violating Linda’s rights by denying her admission to an all-white elementary school 4 blocks from her house. Forced to go to an all black elementary school 21 blocks away

6 Reaction to the Brown Decision Crisis in Little Rock=Arkansas governor ordered the National Guard to turn away the “little rock nine” 1957 President Eisenhower had to order thousands of paratroopers to Little Rock to enforce the courts!
