It has the option to choose topics from current events or past events, as well as the option to choose between different subjects.  EDSITEment: The Best of the Humanities: http://learning.blogs.nytimes.com http://learning.blogs.nytimes.com Very detailed! It is designed for humanities, which is ideal for a teacher in that specific field. It’s easy to navigate, which always makes it easier for the user. They give many activities related to one topic/lesson plan, which is definitely a plus!

It’s obviously specific to math. So it could be all grade level math. It literally has just about any specific topic you are looking for. They also have the option to shoot them an email if you have any further questions.

I would highly recommend this site to a biology teacher. Tons and tons of activities and material.

Available footage from 500 miles above and 15 meters below the surface of the Atlantic Ocean.  NestCams: http://watch.birds.cornell.edu/ne stcams/home/index http://watch.birds.cornell.edu/ne stcams/home/index This site is conducted from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. It contains live footage of different species of birds. They provide information such as the science of birds, their history, and photos.

You can literally look up ANY animal or insect from anywhere in the world and receive information on it. You get photos and details on them all. By signing up, you can also receive even more benefits and access.

It allows you the opportunity to view podcasts and even subscribe to them. They provide images and videos for your convenience, as well as art.

This site provides videos, summaries, concepts, and step by step demonstration for all grade level concepts.  PBS Kids and PBS Kids Lab: www.pbskids.org www.pbskids.org A site for young kids containing videos, games, songs, and activities based on the characters from PBS itself. It allows children to practice their skills all the while having fun doing so.

It offers games, stories, activities, articles and quizzes for children to interact with. Children are able to explore and discover all things from Harriet Tubman to China’s population.  Earthquakes for Kids: http://earthquake.usgs.gov/learn/kids http://earthquake.usgs.gov/learn/kids This site provides information on the science and history or earthquakes. Partake in activities, learn facts, and play games about all things earthquakes. Explore the history of earthquakes and examine their photos.

This is an easy navigating site for children to use to learn and understand the living things around them – biology. This site is formulated based on the many species found in southeast Michigan.

I’m studying to be an interior designer – something I’ve been passionate about since I was little. My father is from Laos (located by Thailand), my mother is from here, born in Arizona. I have three younger siblings, one older. I am a very family oriented person. I adore my family to pieces. When I’m not at school, I’m usually at work. And if I’m not at either, I like to be at home relaxing. I’m very easy-going and always down for adventures. I’m in love with water – oceans, lakes, and rivers, but mainly oceans. It is like my own little piece of heaven here on Earth. I live for palm trees, sunshine, my family, and the ocean! I am 21 years old.
