EDAD 697 e-Portfolios: Different Types of Electronic Portfolios and Their Application in the Classroom (Section 58) Dates: Aug 12, 6 – 9:30pm & Aug 13, 8am – 5pm Instructor: Plamen Miltenoff Location: EB A122 (CTC lab) e-Portfolios are quickly becoming the most visible advocates of the application of technology in education. This is mostly due to the various formats that e-Portfolios can take, yet also due to the different audience that e-Portfolios can serve. e-Portfolios can be Web-based and/or presented using a CD or DVD. E-Portfolios are handy tools for school administrators as well as teachers. Last but not least, e-Portfolios can be used by students and teach them content, as well as technology. 1 credit
