3 15 Campuses throughout the State of Jalisco, México – 100,000 (Undergraduate and Graduate Students) High School System - Sistema de Educación Media Superior (SEMS), – 110,000 High School Students UdeG- Los Angeles – 500 Students in California – 650 Total in the U.S. Virtual University--Sistema de Universidad Virtual– (UdeG- Virtual) – 6,000 Undergraduate and Graduate students – 1,200 High School Students

4 Mathematics Challenges Enlance- National State Exam – 89 % of Students in the State of Jalisco score below average in the Enlace Exam – Enter University with a poor preparation in Mathematics México is in last place in mathematics performance of the 30 nations that belong to the Organization for Economic Cooperation Development (OECD)* *(OECD, 2010)

5 Colaboration with MITE Algebra Course- Spanish Translation – Courses Translated Algebra 1, Calculus New Algebra Course *Developmental math – Benefit Spanish Speakers in the U.S., especially states with a high number of English Learners. California– Approximately 25% of K-12 students are English learners and out of this number 80% are Spanish Speakers. – Benefit students and teachers in México by providing access to high quality Algebra course.
