3 Regeneration Unit, or The Energy Feedback Unit, the full name for “special energy feedback unit of frequency converter ”, is a kind of special inverter braking unit, is mainly used for large inertia frequency speed regulation system, help renewable electricity back to the grid produced in the process of the motor reducing the speed,help system achieve rapid braking. 5 1. Product Introduction - Our product RU Series AFE Unit & Regeneration Unit arise at the historic mo- ment. RU600 was developed and launched in 2013, high-performance, active energy feedback unit 。 It can be used in conjunction with the inverter,can replace the traditional braking resistors, reducing heat generation.The effect of energy-saving is obvious. While minimizing the input side harmonics, Reduce the pollution to the grid in the use process of inverter. With a converter to achieve four- quadrant operation.

12 3. Applications of product - Typical applications Large cargo lifting equipment when removing the cargo , installation RU600 / RU630 can replace conventional braking resistor. Elevator light load upward, overload downward,motor in the state of renewable energy, installation RU600 / RU630 can make Energy back to the grid, to save energy.

Applications of product - Typical applications Energy feedback unit used in high inertia loads such as: fan, cement pipe, balancing machines, centrifuges grinder, etc. Energy feedback unit for applications requiring quick stop occasions, such as rolling mills, large planer, machine tools, presses, etc.

Applications of product - Other applications Regeneration unit as inverter device for wind power, the electricity coming from wind power generator can be sent back to the utility grid by means of regeneration unit. Regeneration unit used in photovoltaic power generation, the electricity coming from photovoltaic panels can be sent back to the utility grid by means of regeneration unit. Energy feedback unit used in UPS power supply, EPS power supply, AFE units used in applications where a stable DC voltage is needed, energy feedback unit is used as a power inverter for local load electricity generation.

25 4.Specifications and attention -Attention Tip1. It is different with the inverter, RU600 require real-time monitoring of the grid voltage.If it shows “LP”,after power on,firstly check the grid voltage detection line wiring is properly connected to the grid. Tip2. When using an external inductor,grid detection wire needs to be connected to the grid side. Tip3. Energy feedback unit and inverter applications in parallel mode, need to use Commonmode Choke in series with the bus, or will cause circulation, affecting the normal use. Tip4. Power normal, keyboard display properly on RU600, but the bus voltage and bus voltage of the inverter are inconsistent, to confirm the internal fuse is damaged or not. Tip5. It is different from the inverter, losing uncontrolled rectifier bridge, increasing the grid voltage detection circuit, so we can handle the rest of the abnormal as the inverter. In my experiment, encountered some problems, and share 5 tips with you:
