Economics is a Social Science  Economics studies people and their behaviors  Economics utilizes graphs and mathematics to display its theories Economics requires Right & Left Brain function  Social Science  Right Brain (artistic, creative, abstract thought, reading/writing)  Mathematics & Graphs  Left Brain (analytical, planned, logical thought, math/science,) Economics requires use of both sides of the brain at the same time…  this can be difficult if this is the first time a course has required this type of thought/application.
