2  The legislative branch is one of three main branches of our government in America.  The other two branches are called the Executive and Judicial branches.

4  They meet in the U.S. Capitol Building, which is located in our nations capitol: Washington DC.  They start their meetings on the third day of January every odd numbered year.

5  The house of representatives is one of the two branches.  The number of representatives is based on the population of the certain state.  There are 435 representatives in the house of representatives. www.idahoreporter.com  The other branch is called the senate  In this branch there are two senators per state regardless of the population of the state.  So that means that there is 100 senators total www.topnews.in
