1 HONEY BEES BY: STEPHANE-LEIGH CHARLES

2 THE LIFE CYCLE OF A HONEY BEE  The queen lays each egg in a different cell of the honey comb.  As soon as the egg is laid, the larva is growing inside it.  After three days, the egg hatches and a larva crawls out.  As the larva grows it sheds its skin. It does this five times.  Eight days after hatching, the bee larva is fully grown.  The larva cannot feed anymore and it start to change into a pupa.  After nine days the pupa changes color. It has tunred into an adult.  When it’s about three to four weeks old ‘ the bee will leave the hive.

3 WHAT DOES HONEY BEES EATS Honey bees eat honey a lot to be alive. They collect sugar to eat. They eat juicy friuts. Queen bees eats royal jelly. Royal jelly is a paste made by workers bees. The queen lays eggs which become cither males, workers, or a new queen, depending on the time of the year and the age of the hive.

4 WHAT ARE HONEY BEE HABITAT Honey bees habitat are hive. A lot of people get honey from the hive.

5 DOES THE HONEY BEE HAVE WAY TO PROTECTING ITSELF When the honey bee see some one getting honey out of the hive they sting the people. Honey bees are so dangerous. Ather the honey bee sting you the honey bee dies.

6 FACTS ABOUT THE HONEY BEE  Honey bees love honey and fruits.  They have a life cycle.  They eat honey and fruits.  They take pollen to flower to flower so a new flower cloud grow.  They live in hive.  They have a way to protecting itself.
