3. Recommendations Educating the drivers regarding road safety Include road safety education in the national curriculum Teachers should take initiatives themselves and introduce road safety in their schools.

4. Recommendations Children both in rural and urban areas should be made aware of the importance of road safety. All the cars should have child locks. Creating awareness regarding road hazards among kids.

5. Recommendations Involving community in child’s learning through child to child approach Developing life skills and critical thinking among kids to bring a change in their attitudes and behaviors. Introducing fun active methods and practical approaches to teach road safety in schools.

6. Recommendations Spreading road safety awareness according to the local needs/context. Schools should be used as platform to create awareness regarding road safety. Strict law and order should be enforced to assure road safety. Self realization of the importance of road safety.

7. Recommendations Educating street children along with the school going children. Media should be used as an effective tool for creating the awareness. First aid training should also be introduced at school level.
