4 An example of animal/pet photography being used in a vets advertisement An example of popular media advertisement types An example of portraiture, taken by a professional photographer Photography is the most popular Yelm Vets seems to have a very large website, with newsletters and bright photos. This website is successful as they have members and a free newsletter option. They have a “pet memorials” link and a “new patient centre” link to help new members of the veterinary clinic. An example This photograph may appeal to young models or girls early in their modelling career. They may look at her facial expression and use them as their own. 5 What is your idea? My subject is cats; therefore I am trying to develop a cat like mask with distinctive feline features. What is the purpose of them? Cat outfits and masks are popular for fancy dress, however, I want to make a mask that doesn’t hide the face, but extenuates it with cat like features such as, elongated eyes, whiskers, and large ears placed on top of the head, clipped down to the hair with a hair clip, so they’re not actually attached to the mask. Who is the target audience and why? The target audience will be mostly female. The type of mask will be very feminine (also suitable for men though). There is no real age limit if you wanted to wear the mask, it’s delicate and is perfect for any age.

6 Using market research I found out the most popular types of masks people bought. My original idea was to make a cat mask and use that, but more original masks such as butterfly's looked more popular. I also needed an object, so instead of using two different objects, I decided to use the same thing. I have a small cat teddy, by angling the shot right I managed to take pictures of the cat teddy in front of my models face, or party in front, and made it look like a mask. It was also easy to use the cat teddy as an object as it was rather small and I could place it wherever.
