6  Dues based alumni association  Approximately 18% of funding from the university  80% tax deductible  38,695 members (about 20% of the alumni population)  Increases the university’s participation rate for giving in rankings Membership

7  UK Alumni Club volunteers assist the association and university through giving – time, talent and treasure  Alumni giving is important to the university as state funds become less and less each year (about 9% of the overall budget)  Volunteerism on behalf of the university is a great way to show support in club areas (i.e. service projects, in kind service, student recruitment, etc.) Giving
