Executable files not allowed File(s) too large

3 EXECUTABLE FILES These are files that cause the computer to implement internal routines. Typically these files end with: .exe .com .bat .dll .ocx See for a more complete list

4 FILES THAT ARE OK Photo files - .jpg, .jpeg, (most common), .bmp, .png, .gif, .tif (rare) MS Office files – Word (.doc, docx), Excel (.xls, xlsx), Powerpoint (.ppt, .pps, .pptx, .ppsx) Text files - .txt Portable Document Format - .pdf (Adobe Reader/Acrobat) files

5 FILE(S) TOO LARGE Generally providers limit the size of attachments to 10MB Check the total size(s) of the attached files. R/M on the file to see its size. Resize photos from download Zip files using OS or Winzip

6 FILE(S) TOO LARGE Reduce the number of files attached
Attach .pdf files instead of formatted files (they are generally smaller files)

8 ATTACH FILE TO EMAIL Start and log in to email
Start the compose process Work from the top down on the form – DO NOT SKIP ANY BOXES! Attach attachment by clicking on Attach and pointing to file to be attached – click on the file to be attached Make sure file is attached

9 ATTACH FILE TO Check to make sure all of the following are completed: Address Subject Attachment (optional) Body (some text in body) Click on Send – DONE Check send complete (check for errors)
