5 Your Gmail Inbox Apr 2011 Public Computer Center at Moore Memorial Library | Greene, NY Your mailbox will be the first thing you see and is where all your emails arrive. Click ‘Mail’ or ‘Inbox’ to get back any time Click ‘Sent Mail’ to view any sent messages Click ‘Drafts’ to view your saved messages Remember to empty your ‘Spam’ or ‘Trash’

7 Delete, Move, and Star Apr 2011 Public Computer Center at Moore Memorial Library | Greene, NY First, click the checkbox to select an email Organize your emails: Click ‘Move to’ and choose a folder, or click to create a new one. You can also move emails to the trash or spam folder. Click ‘Delete’ to trash any unwanted email. Click ‘Report Spam’ if it’s junk mail. Click to star an email. Click ‘Starred’ to view only those emails you’ve starred.

8 Compose Apr 2011 Public Computer Center at Moore Memorial Library | Greene, NY In the To: box, enter an email address or contact name Be sure to also include a subject. Write here. Format your text, colors, and add smileys! When you’re all done (or not), click to save, send or discard (trash) your email.

11 Read an Email Apr 2011 Public Computer Center at Moore Memorial Library | Greene, NY Click to ‘Archive’ (save), ‘Report Spam’ (mark as junk) or ‘Delete’ this email Click to reply to this email Click to reply or forward to a friend. Click ‘Download’. Click ‘OK’ to download (save) the attached file or image to your computer.
