3  Software that allows people to work together on the same documents and projects over local and remote networks.  Embraces the communications systems as well, including e-mail, videoconferencing, instant messaging and chat.

4  Allows you to exchange instant messages with your other friends that are online that also have Yahoo Messenger  Not only can you exchange Instant Messages but there is also a web cam option so that video chat is also an option

5  An Internet telephone and videophone service.  Being software based, calls from Skype subscribers originate from their computers, and all computer- to-computer calls between subscribers are free, including videophoning.  Access to regular telephones is also available. With "SkypeOut," users dial a regular telephone for a low per-minute charge.

8 SKYPE YAHOO MESSENGER  Since August 2003 Skype has gained over 137 million members.  Skype allows you to call other Skype members for free. Video calling is enabled. Skype also lets you call  Skype provides Skype In, a system that gives you a phone number that others can call.  Conference calling is also provided for free.  There are around 22 million users of only the Messenger service.  Yahoo! Messenger also provides free PC-to-PC telephone service.  Voicemail is free, however, unlike Skype. Video calling is also included.  It contains "Audibles," animated emoticons that talk.

9 SKYPE YAHOO MESSENGER  It is fast and easy to navigate through.  It allows the user to chat using its simplistic chat engine.  It also allows to chat with more than one person in the same chat window.  It is more bulky and slower.  It contains many more features. Such as IMVironments, chatting backgrounds, are exceptionally fun to experiment with.  While chatting, you can play games with your friend and share photos.

10 WINDOWS REMOTE DESKTOP LOG ME-IN  It allows users to run an audio program on the remote desktop and have the sound redirected to their local computer.  File System Redirection allows users to use their local files on a remote desktop within the terminal session.  Printer Redirection allows users to use their local printer within the terminal session as they would with a locally or network shared printer.  Access from any Internet- connected web browser  Access to a Windows PC or Mac  Remote control and desktop viewing  Copy and paste between computers  Wake on LAN  Reboot/reconnect (including safe mode)  Basic reports (remote access sessions and user access)

11  Everyone uses technology to communicate.  The communication can be social (for everyday entertainment) or business related (pertaining to the workplace).  Either way communication today is very important and by using the technology through Yahoo!, Skype, Logme-In, and Windows Remote Desktop, things are a little easier and simpler
