Do not use your roommate’s things without their permission. Do not gossip or talk about your roommate behind their back. If you break it you buy it. Be aware of when and how often you have guests in your suite/apartment. Be aware of when and how often you have “special guests”. Be willing to compromise. You do not have to be best friends. Sit down and talk to your roommates after you move-in to discuss your living preferences, your likes/dislikes, visitors, sharing your belongings, etc. Complete a Roommate Agreement when you first move-in
