6 AAS4900 – International Project Term in Asia and Africa 3rd semester (30 credits) You will work for a relevant institution and write a project report May or may not be directly related to your MA thesis Application deadline: February 15th/September15th) NB! 7 Parallel Master’s Degrees For students in: ◦ Chinese Society and Politics ◦ East Asian Culture and History (Chinese) 2 semesters at UiO and 2 semesters at Zhejiang University You get two master’s degrees, one from each place You write a 30 credits (one semester) Master’s thesis Application deadline: August 27 More information online Contact person: Hans Christoffer Hoff-HansenHans Christoffer Hoff-Hansen

8 Master’s Thesis 3rd and 4th semester Option 1: Master’s thesis (60 credits) Option 2: AAS4900 – International Project Term (30 credits) followed by Master’s thesis (30 credits)AAS4900 – International Project Term Registration in StudentWeb: 3rd semester: AAS4900 or 60 credits MA thesis course 4th semester: 30 credits or 60 credits MA thesis course

10 Submission deadline  Autumn: December 1st (Autumn 2013: December 2nd)  Spring: June 1st The thesis must be handed in by 3pm!
