3 Partitive articles are used in reference to a portion or a part of something that is being consumed. (typically foods) You must use partitive articles with verbs talking about consumption: manger, acheter, vouloir, avoir, boire, prendre, etc. Partitive articles are : Du De la De l’

4 Use an INDEFINITE article when talking about a whole item or some whole items. Indefinite articles in French are: Un Une Des
