3 CLIFFORD CHANCE * 30 Offices in 19 countries * Around 6,000 staff worldwide with nearly 2,500 partners and lawyers * Clifford Chance London first NT Unicorn user in UK * Three ways merger with German/East European firm Punders and New York firm Rogers and Wells on 1st January 2000 * Followed by a merger with Luxembourg firm Kremer et Associes in March 2000

4 CLIFFORD CHANCE * Multi-site project began Oct 2000 * Sites selected were large and medium offices on different continents * Planning involved project meeting in London initially with representative from US and Netherlands * New York and Amsterdam using different systems

5 CLIFFORD CHANCE Technology issues: * Test Workflows in a WAN environment * Multiple IT departments * Servers, back-ups and time zones * Incorporating an existing shared catalogue/non-compatible
