5 Which one is right for you? 1.Evening MBA 2.Accelerated MBA 3.Fully Employed MBA The MBA Program at CSULB is offered three ways

6 When can you attend classes? How fast do you want to get your MBA? How much work experience to you have? How important is cost? Four key factors to help select the right program for you:

7 When can you attend classes? Evening Program classes are held at 4pm and 7pm Accelerated MBA classes are held Monday-Thursday, 9:30am-3:45pm Fully Employed MBA Classes are held Saturdays from 8am-6pm

8 How fast do you want to get your MBA? Evening Program is self-paced (you decide how many classes you take per semester). Accelerated MBA takes one year to complete (lock-step cohort). Fully Employed MBA takes 23 months to complete (lock- step cohort).

9 How much work experience to you have? Evening Program does not require work experience. Accelerated MBA does not require work experience. Fully Employed MBA requires at least three years work experience—the average is nine years.

10 How important is cost? Evening MBA, Accelerated MBA, and Fully Employed MBA all teach the same high-quality, cutting-edge MBA curriculum. The Accelerated MBA and the Fully Employed MBA are administered in conjunction with University College & Extension Services (UCES). Services such as class registration are carried out by UCES. Student advising and all academic functions are carried out by CBA.

11 How important are cost and quality (cont’d) Evening MBA: 0-6 units = $1,162 7 or more units= $1,879 (per semester; other fees included) Accelerated MBA: $650 per unit (includes class registration, books, materials, and parking) Fully Employed MBA: $550 per unit ((includes class registration, books, materials) These are the current fees which are subject to change based on approval

13 Year Two (Core-21 units) Accounting 610 – Advanced Cost Accounting, Budgeting & Control Finance 600 – Seminar in Business Finance Information Systems 601 – Quantitative Methods for Managerial Decision Making Human Resources Management 652 – Seminar in Human Resources Management Information Systems 602 – Management of Information Systems Management 647 – Seminar in Management Planning & Control Systems Marketing 661 – Seminar in Marketing Policies The MBA Curriculum (48 units)

14 –Finance –Management –Marketing –Accountancy –Information Systems –Health Care –HRM Electives Specialization – 9 Units Capstone Course: GBA 699 – 3 Units Integrated Analysis/Culminating Experience Integrate knowledge from all functional areas of business Taken after 2nd year core is complete Capstone Course and Electives Plus three additional units of your choice

15 BLAW and ECON Requirements You are expected to acquire to fulfill the body of knowledge requirement for a basic business law class and a basic economics class. BEFORE you are admitted to the program, you are free to take a basic business law class and a micro- or macro economics class any way you see fit (be prepared to present proof of this upon being admitted). After you have been admitted, and you still need to fulfill this requirement, you are required to take these classes at CSULB. Most students, particularly those with a business undergraduate degree, have already taken these classes and this requirement will be waived for them upon presenting a transcript that lists these classes.

MBA Application Process MBA Program Application Transcripts (domestic students need to supply a set of transcripts) GPA (min. 2.75 for admission) GMAT Score (500 or better) Detailed Resume Work Experience (if applicable) Statement of Purpose Two Letters of Recommendation from professional associates or faculty

CSULB Application Process Minimum 2.5 GPA for admission Apply online at www.csumentor.edu Submit $55 non-refundable fee Submit one set of original transcripts (International Students apply to International Admissions ) TIPS Apply Early (particularly international students) Create your file – even if you have not yet taken the GMAT Exam Inform the Office of your scheduled GMAT Date No application will be reviewed unless complete
