5 The Background In 2002: –170 University of Utah graduates –650 new Registered Nurses statewide New College of Nursing personnel and goals CoN University-wide Web presence

6 The Plan Administrators recognized need for assistance with information and technology Created new position--Coordinator of Educational Technologies –Liaison between library and CoN –Assist with technologies and information needs –0.5 FTE Coordinator, Dean, Systems Librarian-- established priorities and approaches

22 The Results so far One-on-one instruction – 26 faculty Classroom WebCT instruction – 36 individuals attended, 60 total attendance Total library instruction for CoN –43 classes taught –412 attendees –61.75 contact hours

23 The Future Follow-up faculty survey after 1 year Student evaluations each semester Technology for new building PDAs and Tablet PCs Continually update goals
