15. Globe Valve: In this valve flowing fluid must take abrupt turns in the body hence more pressure loss. Check Valve: Used to limit the flow in one direction only. Gate valve: Most commonly use to regulate flow. Have full size straight way opening to regulate the flow hence less pressure loss.
