3 Final Exam Logistics Final Exam is Tues., Dec 10, 8 am in CCT (here!) Anticipated length: 1.5 hours (you will be allowed 2 hours) Bring # 2 pencil and eraser No notes, books, etc.

4 Final Exam Content Comprehensive – from 1 st to last day of lecture All Discussion sessions Readings – esp. if referred to in class Guest lecturers Some of the same exam questions! Many of your own questions.

7 My recommendations: Print out review concepts Print out all notes & overheads & powerpoints Print out keys from last exams Skim readings Read over notes – should be most helpful thing! Focus on : defining features & examples, Think about why it is important? On exam: Make short answers specific to what is asked Try not to leave blanks!

8 And after the exam? Where might you go from here? Be a more informed citizen Do more readings, attend more events Take more environmental courses Can Minor in Environmental Studies Can Major in Environmental Studies

9 ENVS Minor requirements ENVS 1 ENVS 2 9 credits of ENVS courses at 100+ level –Can substitute 1 non-ENVS course if related –3 of the 9 credits must be at 200 level

10 Environmental Studies is an Inter-collegiate, Interdisciplinary Major Official major in the following units: College of Agriculture and Life Sciences College of Arts and Sciences College of Education and Social Services School of Natural Resources Must fulfill core requirements of your unit!

11 ENVS Major requirements Core curriculum: ENVS 1ENVS 151- prepare Major Plan ENVS 2ENVS 201- prepare Senior Project Senior Project/Thesis (ENVS 202 – 6 credits) 30 credits at 100+ level for “Individually- Designed Program ( Arts & Sci: 18 + your minor) –3 credits of 30 at 200 level –Can be ENVS and other environmentally-related classes which are relevant to focus of major plan
