2 So I am PRO! What do I have to do?
The PRO is responsible for the promotion of all of the events carried out by the society. This may include: Informing university publications and external media of events. Updating the society website and all other blogs (e.g. Twitter, Facebook etc.) Designing posters for society events, in accordance with the poster regulations.

3 POSTERS Let’s chop down trees to make posters, and then stick them up on trees

4 Poster Rules Guidelines Alcohol Policy
No advertising alcohol No mention of alcoholic beverages No pictures of alcohol, or people drinking alcohol No promotion of alcohol companies Rules: How many poster allowed? 15 per event and 25 for a collaborative event. Noticeable (stand out from the crowd) Information: who, what, when, where? Tailor to your audience – LOCATION Simple: don’t confuse people Be creative: humour, shock, incentive

5 Poster Checklist Checklist for Creating Posters
Ensure that you have the correct details for the event – event title, time, date, venue. Submit the event to the events wall via the online portal (see the section on the electronic portal) Create your wondrous poster with all the creativity you can muster. Double check all the details by printing one copy before you print the whole batch. Once you have everything finalised you may print off your posters. Bring the posters to the accommodations office and show it to a member of staff and ask nicely for them to stamp it. Once they are stamped set off and hang your posters where all of the lovely people of UCC may see them. Pssst! Don’t forget to poster the satellite campuses for extra promotion! It can be a bit of a trek but it’s worth it!
