4 Year: F reshman Major: Computer Engineering - Software In EGN1935... o Nurtured a small robot and gave it the education it needed to navigate a hallway. After EGN1935... o More confident about major choice o ☮☮☮☮ ▲▲▲▲ ★★★★☯☯☯☯☀☀☀☀ Plans: I really hope to become president of the Federal Reserve. Or get a career in some form of software development. 5 Year: F reshman Major: Mechanical Engineering & Electrical Engineering In EGN1935... o Prototyped a circuit that produces a square-wave and analyzed it with an oscilloscope. o Learned to use fundamental control structures in programming a robot. After EGN1935... o Certain about taking on an electrical major. o Peaked interest in intelligent machine design. Plans: Pursue a masters degree in controls and a career in the electronic control of mechanical systems. Jason

6 Year: Freshman Major: Mechanical Engineering In EGN 1935... o Learned about programming movements in an autonomous robot. o Explored various principles in electronic design. After EGN 1935... o Strongly considering changing major to either Electrical or Computer Engineering. Plans... o Obtain a PhD. and work in a space related job such as SpaceX. Diego

7 ...about EGN1935 o Coding in Interactive C is easy... o Coming up with a navigation algorithm is not!  Running the robot backwards to overcome the trick path was a (last second) unique solution that turned out to work. Be creative!...about UF o From the Machine Intelligence Lab to the Society of Automotive Engineers, UF has many great engineering groups doing cool work. o Get involved!...about Dr. Schwartz and Dr. Arroyo o Fun and interesting, all around great teachers. o Take their classes!
