3 Accounting 1 - #631 .5 Credit  Grade 11 or 12  Builds foundation in accounting principles, such as: balance sheets, ledgers, payroll, accounts payable/receivable  One-time workbook fee  Prerequisite: Basic Math Skills

4 Accounting 2 - #632 .5 Credit  Grade 11 or 12  Begins where Accounting 1 ends.  More extensive knowledge of basic accounting principles.  Real-life simulations; uses same workbook as Accounting 1 (no additional fee)  Prerequisite: Grade of C in Accounting 1, Course #631

5 Business Systems & Technology - #645 .5 credit (meets computer requirement)  Grade 9 or 10  Learn how to control your economic future:  Buy with confidence  Avoid crippling debt  Saving for your wants  and more!  No Prerequisite

6 Marketing - #643 .5 credit (meets computer requirement)  Grade 11 or 12  Basic principles  Customer relationships  Advertising  Selling  No Prerequisite

7 . 33 Credit (meets computer requirement)  Grade 9, 10, or 11  Fundamental & Intermediate principles of Word, Excel & PowerPoint  Real-life applications – letters, resumes, budgets, and presentations  Prerequisite – proficient typing skill Microsoft Office Essentials Word, Excel & PowerPoint - #601

8  1 Credit (meets computer requirement)  Grade 10, 11, or 12  Use advanced features of Word & Excel  Form a phantom business and create flyers, memos, and incident reports in Word.  Create workbooks in Excel to manage employee information, sales trends, and marketing expenses for your business.  Prerequisite – proficient typing skill AND completion of “Essentials” or placement test. Microsoft Office Enhanced Word & excel - #602

9 Microsoft Certification  Microsoft Office Enhanced is designed to prepare students for the Microsoft Certification Program.  Depending on what school you go to, the certification can count as a college credit.  Test is an individual option and is NOT required. Student responsibility to find testing site.

10 Multimedia - #649 . 5 credit (meets computer requirement)  Grade 9 or 10  Presentations  Digital images, animations, videos, sounds, etc.  Photoshop, Photostory, & Video Editing Software  Prerequisite: Intermediate computer skills in Windows and Word. (Take Course 601 instead if you don’t meet the prerequisite requirement.)
