2. What is Business Technology Education? The objective of Gateway Institute of Technology Business Technology Education program is to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary for success in the field of business technology. As students gain knowledge, they develop skills necessary for success and build a strong foundation that enables them to become productive workers and citizens. The Business Technology Education program is designed for students that have an interest in entrepreneurship, e- commerce, accounting, marketing, and technology. The curriculum is structured to mirror the diversity within the business and technology industry and to provide instruction in the required principles, concepts, attitudes, and skills for advanced study or employment. Students will experience challenging activities and acquire critical-thinking skills as they apply problem-solving models.

Club Association Future Business Leaders of America Future Business Leaders of America –Enrolled in a Business Technology Education Class –Membership Fee $15.00 – Future Business Leaders of America–Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL) is a co-curricular component of the Business Technology program. This student organization enhances classroom instruction, develops leadership skills, and provides opportunities for professional growth and service. FBLA dues are paid only one time per year, not per class.
