2. Our Royal Family are the close relatives of the Monarch, who is currently Queen Elizabeth II.

3. These are the Queen’s immediate family, her husband, their children and their grandchildren.

4. The Imperial State Crown is part of the Crown Jewels and was used during Elizabeth’s Coronation.

5. The Crown Jewels comprise of various sceptres, crowns and orbs and are kept in the Tower of London, when not in use.

8. Do you think you could follow our instructions to make a paper crown? You will need: Thin cardboard Coloured paper or foil, Scissors, Paint, crayons, or felt-tip pens glue, stapler

9. Instructions: Cut a strip of cardboard long enough to go around your head and overlap slightly you may need to staple two pieces together to make it long enough. The strip should be 3 or 4 inches wide and long enough to go around the head Cut a piece of coloured paper or foil gift wrap the same length but slightly wider (2 inches or so wider) again you might need to staple two pieces together to make it long enough

10. Glue the coloured paper to the cardboard so the bottom edge lines up Cut a zigzag in the top edge of the coloured paper Decorate the paper side (not the cardboard side) using pens or stickers Make a ring with the cardboard facing in (toward the head) and the paper facing out and staple to make a crown.
