The Cost ($2117 for Undergraduates) Includes: Round-trip travel from the Charles de Gaulle airport to the hotel Accommodations in double rooms at a Parisian hotel Breakfast daily, a welcome and farewell dinner A subway pass Tickets to all sites An on-site orientation Pre-departure materials Computer and internet access at the hotel and API Center
Does Not Include: Airfare Luggage fees Medical and life insurance Personal expenses (passport fees, spending money, most meals) You will need a passport, but not a visa. You do not have to speak French I will meet with the students at least once before we leave to assist with flight arrangements, get your contact information, and provide information about things you’ll need to take.

The Class Consists Of: 4 or 5 online lectures (20 minutes each) Online documentaries (45 -55 minutes each) Two Textbooks: African Americans in the City of Light by Tyler Stovall Giovanni’s Room by James Baldwin 4 or 5 papers (depending on whether you receive 2 or 3 credits) Four are 3-4 pages each for students getting 2 credits. Students receiving 3 credits must write an addition 8-10 page paper that is due before the spring semester ends. The deadlines on the papers are flexible.
